Frequently Asked Questions

We estimate 7-10 business days from the time you order. We typically take 3-5 business days to fulfill orders before they ship. Once they leave our facility, you will receive a shipping confirmation email referencing tracking information. The freight carrier will contact you to schedule the best day & time for delivery.

If you are having temperature issues, we recommend checking these two things before your next cook.

-Fuel. What brand pellets are you using? There are lots of quality brands out there that will work. However, some brands contain alder wood, which tends to burn significantly faster than an oak. For this reason, it’s possible that the controller is feeding pellets at a rate to compensate, which may result in a higher or lower internal temperature that was originally set. Not to worry, try cleaning out your grill and changing the pellets you’re using.

-Maintenance. When was the last time you cleaned out your grill? We recommend doing so after ever 5-8 cooks. This will prevent any ash build up and keep your grill running at peak performance for years to come.

Grills go through a start up sequence from 10-14 minutes where it builds a fire and stabilizes it THEN looks at your setting and starts making corrections.  If it overshoots at first,  just leave it alone and the software will start making adjustments but keep in mind we are talking about fire and steel so temp change is not immediate.

Error codes are built into the controller to notify you if something may be off with the temperature of your grill. If you are experiencing an error code, watch this video for an explanation from Sales/Engineering Manager, Mark Graham, with details on how to proceed.

The Grilla and Silverbac both feature free shipping anywhere in the continental US. Both grills have the same software and controls, each have a 20 LB pellet hopper and an EZ Pellet Dump. Both grills feature stainless steel internals including burn pots, drip pan, heat diffusers, and 1/4 in cooking grates and they both have a double wall thermal jacket. The differences? Each grill has its own unique design features that set them apart from the crowd. The Grilla features a patented design with a round sliding door, while the Silverbac features a more traditional barrel with exhaust pipe. The Grilla has a viewing window on the front, while the Silverbac features storage cabinets underneath. Another difference is the cooking space. The Silverbac features 692 square inches of cooking area while the Grilla features 488 square inches of cooking space.

While cleaning procedures vary between all three grills, we recommend cleaning after every 5-8 cooks. Clean with a mild soap and water to clean the grill surfaces—NOT an abrasive cleaner or cleaning pads. For more specific cleaning information, consult your grill’s manual.

Each bag of flavorful and environmentally friendly wood pellets will last 10 to 20 hours of cooking time.
